Capacity Building

We believe that Capacity Building is supporting individuals, programs or institutions to develop their individual or programmatic and institutional abilities. This allows institutions to:

  • Perform functions in a satisfactory way
  • Solve problems
  • Set and achieve objectives in a sustainable way

Aim

To enhance our customers by:

  • Equipping them with the understanding, skills, knowledge and access to information about pharmaceutical supply chain management.
  • Assisting them in developing effective management structures, processes and procedures to:
    - Ensure the management structure supports the Organization’s strategy.
    - Streamline and improve processes.
    - Standardise organisational procedures.
  • Identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for an identified challenge in the organisation through assessments. Appropriate recommendations are then made by the consultants to improve the system/s.

How does AA4A do capacity building?

  • Direct Pharmaceutical Management support to clients by offering our technical expertise to work with the organisation for short- to long-term periods.

  • Assist customers to jointly produce operational manuals that result in improved employee performance in all areas of supply chain management.
  • Technical Assistance in designing Pharmaceutical Logistics Management Systems and other health commodities.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation of ART programs and other health commodities supply chain.
  • Establishing and maintaining long-lasting relations with our clients through continued collaboration beyond the technical assistance assignments.
